This procedure is used for many situations including treatment of endometriosis, pelvic adhesions, tubal ligations, hysterectomies and other pelvic surgery outside of the uterus. Usually involves three 5-10 mm port sites; one at the umbilicus and two around the bikini line. Recovery is minimal and you can usually get back to daily activities as early as one week depending on the extensiveness of the surgery. Post op instructions will be given on the day of surgery and should be followed accordingly. This procedure is an out-patient surgery unless otherwise requested due to age, other health conditions or other extenuating circumstance.

Post op instructions will be given on the day of surgery and should be followed accordingly. This procedure is an out-patient surgery and in some cases can be performed in-office.
This treatment is used for women who are experiencing abnormal uterine bleeding but do not plan to have any more children. This procedure includes a tubal ligation, unless it has already been completed previously. Used in conjunction with a Hysteroscopy (above); the Dr. will use a device to clean out the thickened endometrial lining and then proceed to cauterize the lining to prevent any further bleeding. Recovery time for this procedure is approximately 1 week depending of the extensiveness of the surgery. Post op instructions will be given on the day of surgery and should be followed accordingly. This procedure is an out-patient surgery. While it is the hope that this procedure successfully stops bleeding, it is not always successful and further treatment or surgery may be required. Every woman is different and sometimes our hormones and uterus defy treatment. Many women choose this procedure as an alternative to a hysterectomy. Discuss your options with Dr. Lehman

Does that say Vasectomy? YES! Dr. Lehman performs Vasectomies in the comfort of our office. Men have the option of a combination of oral therapy with local anesthetic or the use of Pronox (Nitrous Oxide) with local anesthetic. What is the benefit of Pronox? Pronox allows the patient to be more coherent before, during and after the procedure. Oral therapy often will make the patient sleepy or loopy. It's just a personal preference and these options can be discussed with Dr. Lehman at the consultation. There is a small additional charge for the use of Pronox. This procedure involves 2 minor incisions. Recovery time for this procedure is approximately 1-2 weeks. Post op instructions will be given on the day of surgery and should be followed accordingly. Follow up will be a semen analysis performed in office.
Have a mole or skin tag that you've been wanting removed and tested? Dr. Lehman can do mole removal in the office. Moles will be sent off for pathology and appropriate follow up if abnormal will be followed. Dr. Lehman reserves the right to use medical judgement to decide if he chooses to remove the mole or refer you to a dermatology oncologist for follow up.

Recovery time is dependent on primary surgery.
